But designers love the look because it is hand made. It has imperfections that give it the human touch. Often it comes in wide bolts which makes for easier wall to wall installation. Hand loomed carpet also makes for beautiful fabricated rugs.
Hand knotted rugs are expensive and can gobble up a lot of budget (which we love), BUT using hand loomed carpet is one way of spreading the budget and the elegance throughout the house in a coordinated way.
